Thnouh School Project

Preface: This project was established by Project Little Dream in Hong Kong.  In Cambodia, it was registered as an NGO, led by Mr. Sum Bunseng.  April 1, 2019, the project was handed over to CCAFO for managing the project.  Today, the school contain of preschool classes (advance and lower levels) and library while in the past years there were Khmer and English classes.

The current operation costs for the preschool classes, including the salary for Advance Level Preschool Class Teacher is sponsored by C.A.D.E.Project (USA).  The commune council support salary for Teacher Duk Chanthy for 10 months.

Advance Level Preschool Class

This class is opened for children who are 5 to under 6-Year-Old.  The class is run by Teacher So Saren.  Salary of teacher is supported by C.A.D.E Project (USA) and remaining fund (Project Little Dream).

Lower Level Preschool Class

This class is opened for children who are 3 to 4-Year-Old and the teacher is Duk Chanthy.  Chanthy’s salary is supported by Commune Council and Project Little Dream.

Library Project

The library is an annex to the Thnouh School and it provides students and the community with a wide range of storybooks for their reading and studying. The library also has a place for students and the community to read books, but they can borrow them for reading at home. The library is also open to preschool students who enjoy listening to storytelling by librarian.  The project is currently funded by Faye Dorcas Yung, Head of Education, Project Little Dream.
